HOW THE TURFSAW AVOIDS COMPACTION BY HAVING THE SOIL REMOVED ON THE UPSTROKE

The TURFSAW blades enter the ground at about a 45-degree angle, rotate about 110-degrees, thus pulverizing the soil and mixing it with any thatch present. Some of this mix remains in the slit to be composted, the balance is scattered on the surface. The thatch remains to be picked up or blown away and the soil remains as a light top-dressing.
